Khorasan Science and Technology Park is one of the oldest and largest parks in Islamic Repubic of Iran, which was established in 2003 in the vicinity of Mashhad; and since then, it has always been a leader and inspiration in the technology and innovation ecosystem of the east of the country. Khorasan Science and Technology Park, as the first developed park in the country, has established more than 10 incubators and innovation campuses through different parts of Khorasan province, based on its valuable experiences in the field of technology governance. By creating an effective network between the actors of the technology ecosystem in the region, in close interaction with large industries and based on the advantages of the region, this park has provided the means for the penetration of technology in the industry and society; and has played a key role in the knowledge-based economy.
